Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Manchester

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Manchester, England. You will be based on a road construction project. You will backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
