Glass and glazing technician — Karimganj

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Karimganj, Assam. You will work on a construction site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand Your main tasks: • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
