Vacancy available: milling machinist (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Lancashire, England. You will work at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
