The role involves keep a daily trip log and record mileage and fuel used; reroute around roadworks and diversions while keeping to time; follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable; help elderly and disabled passengers board and alight safely; make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off; maintain an accurate headcount against the passenger manifest.
