Immediate opening: steam press operator (Edo)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Egor, Edo. You will work at a dry cleaner's. You should have: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day-to-day duties: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Rotating shifts.
