Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ivo, Ebonyi State. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift ₦205,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
