Vacancy available: we are hiring a spray painter (automotive) in Kankakee County, Illinois. You will be based at an accident repair centre. Requirements: • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods On a typical shift you will wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying.
