Join our team: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Bailey County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
