Great opportunity: we are hiring a halal butcher in Illela, Sokoto State. The job is at a halal meat counter. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Day to day you will run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
