Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Eket, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
