The role involves check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
