Production operative — Wrexham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a production operative in Wrexham, Wales. Day-to-day duties: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Good attention to detail and steady hands Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. £2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
