Urgent requirement: canteen cook (Massachusetts)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a canteen cook in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. You will work in a hotel kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
