Vacancy available: VMC operator (Florida)

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Washington County, Florida. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. What we are looking for: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Able to grind and set HSS cutters At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
