Pastry baker wanted in Surry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pastry baker in Surry County, Virginia. The job is at a busy bakery. Day-to-day duties: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Rotating shifts.
