Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Requirements: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs Your main tasks: • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels We offer ₦215,000 per month plus benefits.
