Join our team: we are hiring a foundry operative in Bauchi, Bauchi State. You will work at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦8,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
