Now hiring: sheet metal press operator (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Cook County, Illinois. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts You will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
