Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
