Tracked excavator operator • Kent County, Rhode Island

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Kent County, Rhode Island. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. You will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
