Tracked excavator operator wanted in Sangamon County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Sangamon County, Illinois. Day to day you will strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Part-time with flexible hours.
