Great opportunity: garment presser (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in North Tyneside, England. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Your main tasks: • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets We offer £16 per hour plus benefits.
