Great opportunity: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Jaba, Kaduna State. You will be based at a shipbuilding yard. Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Day-to-day duties: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. ₦115,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
