Foundry worker wanted in Walker County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Walker County, Texas. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles.
