Hand presser • Tsafe, Zamfara State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Tsafe, Zamfara State. Your main tasks: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine 5+ years on the tools preferred.
