Vacancy available: turning centre operator (Rivers State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Ahoada East, Rivers State. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; load and index turning tools in the turret; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. ₦1,300 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
