Shuttering charge hand wanted in Kane County

Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Kane County, Illinois. You will work on a residential tower site. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Day to day you will cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
