CNC milling operator — Polk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Polk County, Oregon. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
