Heavy equipment operator • Elkhart County, Indiana

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Elkhart County, Indiana. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
