Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Apa, Benue State. You will work at a shopfitting company. Day-to-day duties: • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent 1+ years on the tools preferred.
