We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Polk County, Texas. Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; score the top of loaves before baking; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; load and unload the deck oven with a peel. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
