Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Kent County, Michigan. The role involves climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block.
