Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Uintah County, Utah. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Performance bonus on top of base pay.
