Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Suleja, Niger State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Your main tasks: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through ₦220,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
