Immediate opening: we are hiring a dogger in Tai, Rivers State. On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 5+ years on the tools preferred.
