We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. The job is in a botanical garden. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Day-to-day duties: • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
