Join our team: stamping press operator (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Angus, Scotland. You will work on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Your main tasks: • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £3,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
