Sheet metal press operator • Dorset, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Dorset, England. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading You will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
