Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Shanono, Kano State. You will be based at a wholesale meat market. What we are looking for: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry The role involves portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
