Now hiring: finishing plasterer (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Logan County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish 6+ years on the tools preferred.
