Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Lucknow District, Uttar Pradesh. The job is in a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Ideally you have valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent); physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts; proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
