Cnc production machinist wanted in Cook County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Cook County, Illinois. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; load and index turning tools in the turret; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
