Requirements: • Strong enough to lift tile packs and felt rolls all day • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Willing to work outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
