Now hiring: commis chef (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commis chef in Moray, Scotland. The job is at a roadside dhaba. On a typical shift you will monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; prepare the mise en place before each service; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
