Immediate opening: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Aguata, Anambra State. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Part-time with flexible hours.
