Fusing press operator — Henry County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Henry County, Georgia. The job is at a dry cleaner's. You will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
