Concrete shuttering carpenter • Middlesbrough, England

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Middlesbrough, England. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On the job you will handle: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) Pay around £2,850 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
