The role involves grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • 2+ years' experience as a baker $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
