Vacancy available: bakery assistant (West Bengal)

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Murshidabad, West Bengal. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. We are looking for understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics; basic cake decorating and piping skills; 2+ years' experience as a baker. Your main tasks: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them 5+ years on the tools preferred.
