Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes On a typical shift you will bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift.
